Tumblr Survivor: Cook Islands is the inaugural season of the Tumblr Survivor series. On July 12, 2012, Anna won the season over Brennah and Chad.

The blog for this season was GamePlaySurvivor, and the tag was survivorgameop.
A lot of information about Season One is currently unknown due to many factors:
Firstly, the blog was handled in a slightly unorganized fashion. For example, some contestants only went by the names of their blogs (like Derping-with-swag), which made challenges and Tribals confusing to keep track of. Additionally, the host did not include certain information on the blog. For example, the second player eliminated was an evacuation on Rarotonga, but it was never formally announced on the blog.
Secondly, due to the way the game was set-up. Contrary to future seasons, every week was featured Individual Immunity challenges and both tribes attending Tribal Council.
Thirdly, many contestants on Season One were inactive, making the voting history of the season impossible to accurately determine. With that, the host did not post every vote when he posted Tribal Council results on the blog, so it is unknown exactly who voted for who, and how many votes people truly received.

Amanda returned to compete in Samoa, Panama, FvF, and Sri Lanka, Anna, Chad, and Dalton would return for Samoa and Tocantins, Brennah would return for Tocantins and HvV, Chris would return for Tocantins and RI, Leo would return for HvV, and Nicole would return in RI and Sapphire.
Tumblr Survivor mainstay Jack played again in Tocantins, Panama, HvV, Sapphire, Okinawa, BvW, Ancient Greece, and All-Stars, while fellow mainstay Katie would return for Tocantins, Panama, HvV, Sapphire, Chief's Island, Ancient Greece, Easter, and Sri Lanka.
